Privacy Policy — Porsche Club Monaco App

This app is for verified members of Porsche Club Monaco only. This policy explains what information we collect through the app, why, and how you can control it.

Who is responsible for your data

Porsche Club Monaco, represented by Emmanuel Viale, is the data controller. For any question or request about your data, contact registration@porscheclubmonaco.mc.

What we collect

• Membership data: your title, first and last name, email address, club member number, phone number, postal address, and the model of your vehicle, taken from the club's existing membership roster (managed on the club's CMS) in order to grant you access to the app and to show you the details the club holds about you. These details are read-only in the app; if something is wrong, ask the club to correct it.
• Sign-in: the app uses passwordless sign-in — we send a one-time code to your email address when you sign in. We don't store passwords.
• Profile photo (optional): if you choose to add a profile photo in the app, it's stored against your member record.
• Members directory: your first and last name and the model of your car, shown to the other signed-in club members for every active member. A photo of you and a photo of your car are shown only if you agreed to it and gave the club those photos for the directory. Photo links only work for signed-in members. To be left out of the directory, or to have a photo changed or removed, contact the club.
• Push notification token: if you allow notifications, your device registers a token (via Apple/Google's push services) so the club can send you announcements.

What we don't collect

We don't collect location data, browsing history, or any data unrelated to your membership and use of this app. We don't use advertising trackers and we don't sell or share your data with advertisers.

How your data is used

Your data is used solely to: verify you're a club member, let you sign in, show you club announcements, the club calendar and organized-drive route files (GPX), show you your own membership details, and send you push notifications about club activity. We don't use your data for any other purpose.

Where your data is stored

App data is stored on a server operated by OVH (a hosting provider) in France, under the club's control. Push notifications are relayed through Apple's and Google's standard push notification services, and Expo's push delivery service, as is standard for any mobile app — these services only see your device's push token, not your personal details.

Copies kept on your phone

So that the app still shows something when you have no signal, it keeps a copy on your phone of what it last received from the club server: the announcements, the calendar, the members directory (names, car models and the photos you have already seen), your own membership details, and the route files you have opened. Your sign-in is kept in your phone's protected storage (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android). These copies stay on your phone and are not sent anywhere. Logging out erases the saved lists, the photos and your sign-in; deleting the app removes everything, including downloaded route files.

How long we keep it

Your membership data is kept for as long as you're an active club member. When the club's membership roster is updated, members who are no longer active lose access to the app; their record is deactivated, not immediately deleted, consistent with how the club's own membership records work.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to stop receiving push notifications (you can also do this yourself in your device's notification settings). Contact registration@porscheclubmonaco.mc for any of this.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address.
